Truliant promotes Averill to Area Manager for Central Region

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (June 22, 2016) — To better serve members in its growing Member Financial Center network, Truliant Federal Credit Union has promoted Emily Averill to the newly created position of Area Manager, Central Region.

Averill will oversee the North Point and Victory locations in addition to continuing to directly manage the Truliant Way Member Financial Center.

“Emily has earned this opportunity through her consistent high performance in various roles, strong example of leadership, diligence, and talent,” said Chris Murray, vice president of Member Financial Centers.

“She has proven herself instrumental in driving projects that improve our ability to serve our member-owners.”

She joined Truliant in October 2003 as a Deposit Representative. She served in several roles before becoming manager of Truliant’s Clemmons location in 2009. In 2014, she became manager of the credit union’s headquarters Truliant Way branch location.

Averill is active in her community. She is the founder and President of One Life Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rights and welfare of animals. She has served as a foster parent for the Forsyth County Department of Social Services for four years and recently adopted a child.
