TruStone Financial awards $1,000 to Good Karma Animal Rescue
PLYMOUTH, MN (January 31, 2017) — Federal Credit Union gave $1,000 to Good Karma Animal Rescue of MN. The animal rescue was one of four finalists in a recent social media campaign, Show Us Your Neighborgood. The campaign also provided donations to three other non-profit organizations across the Midwest, making the total contribution to all non-profit organizations $1,500.
The four-week Facebook contest encouraged users to submit a selfie volunteering at their favorite charity. At the end of each week, the photos were voted upon to determine the winning volunteer and charity. A final voting period was held for the four finalists.
