TTCU The Credit Union breaks ground on new corporate headquarters

TULSA, OK (June 29, 2015) — TTCU The Credit Union held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new corporate headquarters facility located at 9815 E. 81st St. on Thursday, June 25.

Tim Lyons, TTCU President and Chief Executive Officer, along with TTCU executives and board members joined community dignitaries to break ground for the new facility. Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Broken Arrow Chamber President/CEO Wes Smithwick and Tulsa Regional Chamber President/CEO Mike Neal were in attendance.

The new facility, TTCU’s sixth official headquarters, will occupy 90,000 square feet, standing six stories tall. Its exterior design of brick, steel and glass will honor TTCU’s history – providing a modern vision of strength, while representing the transparency of their business practices.

“TTCU has moved to, and grown out of, five corporate headquarters, but we still operate on the same principle of ‘people helping people’ that was established more than 80 years ago,” says Lyons. “We’re committed to carrying that level of member service into the next 80 years.”

The headquarters is under the construction and design management of NewGround, which specializes in facilities for financial institutions.  TTCU’s corporate headquarters has an expected completion date of late 2016. The new facility will be located next to TTCU’s Southeast branch location near 81st Street and Highway 169.

“As the central nervous system of TTCU, our new facility will let us provide even greater levels of service to our membership and will position us for growth in the years to come,” says Lyons.
