U.S. New Mexico Names New CEO

Marsha Majors selected to lead New Mexico’s oldest credit union.
Albuquerque, NM – U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union Board of Directors this month announced the selection of Marsha Majors as the credit union’s new CEO and president. Majors succeeds James Raquet, who retired after serving more than 10 years as CEO and president. Majors’ credit union experience spans 27 years. She began her career as a Retirement Account Administrator and then went on to serve in progressive management positions, most recently Executive Vice President.

“I am honored and excited to be named CEO and president of U.S. New Mexico,” Majors states. “I am very confident that our strong track record of providing excellent member service, auto loans, mortgages, serving members of modest means, and community outreach, will continue. Our credit union continues to grow, and I look forward to providing the best products and services to our members.”

U.S. New Mexico is based in Albuquerque, NM, serves more than 70,000 members, and has assets in excess of $740 million. The credit union has six branch offices – four in Albuquerque, one in Bernalillo, and one in Farmington – and is constructing a new branch office in Albuquerque near the intersection of Coors and Montano. The new branch is scheduled to open in the second quarter of this year.

U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union serves its members by providing financial products and services to help them attain personal financial success. U.S. New Mexico was founded in 1935, making it the oldest credit union in New Mexico, and provides complete financial services to its members. For more information, visit www.usnmfcu.org.
