United Federal Credit Union breaks ground on second branch in Carson City

United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) has broken ground on a second state-of-the-art branch in Carson City, Nevada. The new branch, located at 935 Jacks Valley Road, is part of a multi-phase project aimed at supporting UFCU’s planned growth in northern Nevada area.

“We are excited to be extending our services and increasing our convenience across Northern Nevada with new locations,” said UFCU Nevada Market Vice President Danny DeLaRosa. “The community has been great in welcoming us. We are proud to be serving existing and new members in Carson City and Douglas County.”

The new branch will offer a full complement of services including loans, mortgages, checking accounts, debit and credit cards, investment planning and business lending. It is expected to open for business in late fall of this year.

United already has five free-standing branches in the Reno area, an in-store branch at the Walmart Supercenter on Kietzke Lane, and a satellite branch at Reed High School. Ground was broken on UFCU’s first branch in Carson City last September. It is located at 1350 E. William Street, and will open in April.
