Hadley, MA – Kids are the future, and UMassFive College Credit Union wants to help them become the “Super Savers” they are meant to be! By working with the whole family, we aim to make the subject of money management easier and fun for everyone.

We know teaching kids how to manage money is a big challenge for any parent, but a vitally important task. The financial lessons we instill now may inform our children throughout their lives. UMassFive’s new program will include components that really engage kids in every age group. To start, “Super Savers” will focus on ages 6–9 years, when kids begin to understand more about the concept of money. Kids will get their own cool Super Savers passbooks, stickers, and prizes as they move through their Super Saver adventure.

There will be a kickoff of this new program during Credit Union Youth Week, April 23–28, 2012. Starting that week, you can stop by our Hadley, Northampton, and Worcester branches to sign kids up. This program will be ongoing.
