UNCLE Credit Union earns “Best in East Bay 2018” award from Bay Area news group

UNCLE Credit Union, a full-service financial cooperative serving four Northern California counties, has been named “Best in East Bay 2018” for credit unions by the East Bay Times Readers’ Choice Awards. The multiple award-winning credit union has been recognized by both its industry and the communities it serves for excellence in areas including service, leadership, financial performance and more.

“As we maintain our course of strategic growth, our members can expect enhanced value and expanded offerings, as well as a continued investment in the technology and infrastructure that enable us to provide the best possible service,” said UNCLE Credit Union Board Chairman Chung Bothwell.

UNCLE Credit Union President and CEO Harold Roundtree added, “We’re honored and humbled to receive this award, which is highly meaningful to us as an organization that exists for the benefit of our members and the communities we serve. We sincerely thank all of those that have placed their confidence and trust in us by casting their vote for UNCLE in the Readers’ Poll.”

The title of “Best in East Bay” is awarded based on polling results from more than 2,500 readers of the East Bay Times, the Bay Area News Group’s daily publication serving Contra Costa and eastern Alameda counties. Readers respond to more than 100 questions to pick their top choice in a variety of categories including places and services, beauty and health, entertainment and recreation, food, home, pets, shopping and wheels (auto needs). The Bay Area News Group also presents a title of “Best in Silicon Valley” to businesses and services in the Santa Clara Valley.
