United Federal Credit Union announces new associate director and supervisory committee member

ST. JOSEPH, MI (May 13, 2019) — United Federal Credit Union (United) has announced the appointment of two new members to the credit union’s leadership team—Kelly Glenn, associate director for the board of directors, and Julie Duensing, supervisory committee member for the board of directors. Glenn and Duensing will help the credit union achieve its mission of improving members’ lives, enhancing local communities, and building a strong organization for years to come.

The Associate Director Program is designed to provide a prepared and ready supply of succession candidates for the board of directors, ensuring continuity of board leadership.

“Kelly and Julie will bring proven leadership and unique insights to our board room,” said President/CEO Terry O’Rourke. “We are excited to welcome them to the leadership team and know they will be instrumental in positioning United for a bright and sustainable future.”

Glenn has nearly 20 years’ experience in the marketing/advertising and public relations industries, and has recently served as Executive Vice President/Account Management/Partner at The Glenn Group & Wide Awake in Reno & Las Vegas, Nevada.

Throughout her career, Glenn has created strategic solutions for clients, including major branding and rebranding initiatives, integrated marketing campaigns, communications programs, product launches and promotions, project management, and experience design.

In the community, Glenn has served as president and board member of First Tee of Northern Nevada, and as an advisory board member and campaign cabinet member for Community Foundation of Western Nevada.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Duensing has over 15 years’ experience in financial services, and has served as Chief Operating Officer at Professional Hearing Services in St. Joseph, Michigan since 2014.

Her financial career expertise includes strategic management planning, as well as management of deposit and loan sales, product and services, risk, compliance, and customer service. In her current role at Professional Hearing Services, Duensing is responsible for operating and managing the single highest-producing audiology practice in the country.

Duensing also is proficient in coaching and developing individuals in order to maintain exceptionally high standards for patient care and satisfaction.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
