United Federal Credit Union names Justin Sawri commercial loan officer in Reno, Nevada
ST. JOSEPH, MI (April 20, 2021) —
United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Justin Sawri as Commercial Loan Officer at the Summit Branch in Reno, Nevada.
As the Commercial Loan Officer, Sawri is responsible for providing quality business lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to Credit Union members regarding their business financing needs and generates investment quality business loans by taking loan applications in support of loan growth objectives.
Sawri brings more than four years of financial industry experience to his new role. Prior, he was a Member Service Advisor with United in Reno, Nevada. He also spent time with the Reno Bighorns of the NBA G-League where he held many titles, including Senior Account Manager/Sales Manager. In his roles, he was in charge of corporate ticket sales and corporate partnership generation within the professional sports industry.
A native Nevadan, Sawri earned an associate’s degree in Business Management from Truckee Meadows Community College with continued studies for a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at University of Nevada. He is an advocate for United’s community impact efforts supporting organizations such as the United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, and other local non-profit groups.
