United Federal Credit Union names Laura Carrion branch manager in Sparks
ST. JOSEPH, MI (October 11, 2016) — Laura Carrion has been appointed to the position of branch manager at the United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) Hacienda Plaza branch located at 1430 E. Prater Way, Sparks, Nevada. In her new role, Carrion is responsible for providing operational leadership to branch staff, including staff development and retention; growth of branch sales performance; and building relationships in the community.
A seven-year veteran of the financial services industry, Carrion has expertise at mentoring and team building. She also has experience in retail management with Barnes & Noble Inc., where she managed over $11 million in revenue, and supervised 60 employees.
Carrion is a graduate of Truckee Meadows Community College and attended the University of Nevada, Reno. A native of Carson City, she lives with her husband and three children in Minden, Nevada.
