United Federal Credit Union names William Powers Mortgage Advisor in new South Bend Ireland Road Branch

United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) has appointed William Powers to the position of mortgage advisor at its South Bend, Ind. branch located at 223 West Ireland Road South Bend, IN 46614.

Powers will use his previous finance experience to provide comprehensive real estate lending expertise to Members through financial counseling and awareness of UFCU mortgage products.

Prior to this position, Powers served as assistant branch manager at the credit union’s Niles, Mich. location since 2017; before that, he was a gold-level member service advisor for UFCU since 2015. He began his career with UFCU as a teller in the Berrien Springs, Mich. branch in 2014.

Powers went to Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich.

In October 2017, UFCU announced the groundbreaking of this location with the expectation that it will be open and fully operational in July 2018.
