United Federal Credit Union receives Second Reader’s Choice Award as Favorite Financial Institution in northern Nevada
ST. JOSEPH, MI (August 12, 2015) — United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) is proud to announce it again has been named a favorite financial institution in northern Nevada. The latest designations come from the Reno News and Review’s Annual Reader’s Choice Awards. UFCU was recognized in three categories — first place in the best credit union category, second place in the best local place to work category, and third place in the best mortgage company category.
Last month, UFCU was voted favorite financial institution in the bank/credit union category of The Big Nickel First Annual Reader’s Choice Awards.
“We are grateful to our members who voted for us,” said Nevada Market Vice President Danny DeLaRosa. “We work hard every day to earn their trust and respect, and we appreciate being recognized for our efforts.”
More than 88,000 votes were cast in the competitions 345 categories.
UFCU has six branches in Nevada, including one at Reed High School and an in-store branch located at the Walmart Supercenter at Firecreek Crossing Shopping Center. A seventh branch is under construction at Summit Mall on Reno’s south side. It is expected to open by the end of the year.
