United Federal Credit Union’s Jeff Panko joins board of Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra
ST. JOSEPH, MI (August 23, 2016) — United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) Member Service Advisor Jeff Panko has been named to the board of directors of the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra (WACCS), a non-profit organization that provides education, job training, resources, and support to help women escape or avoid poverty and provide a better life for their families.
Panko is a long-time supporter of WACCS, and spearheads UFCU’s annual diaper drive to benefit families served by the organization.
“The diaper drive is just one of the ways UFCU helps WACCS serve the community,” Panko said. “Many families struggle to maintain an adequate supply due to the expense. Thanks to our members we were able to collect 5,000 diapers at our branches this year to help meet that need.”
Panko is a Reno native and a former Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout. He also serves on the board of directors of My Journey Home, Inc., nonprofit organization dedicated to the safe and successful reentry of military veterans and former prisoners into the community.
Panko earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration and Information systems from the University of Nevada, Reno.
