United Teletech Financial Announces Scholarship Program

TINTON FALLS, N.J. – United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union (UTF) continues their commitment to education by offering local high school students a chance to win a college scholarship. UTF is participating in a statewide credit union scholarship program through the New Jersey Credit Union League’s Youth Involvement Board that will offer UTF members the chance to win one of several scholarships, between $500 and $1,000. 

To be eligible, a student must be a high school senior and a member in good standing with UTF. Scholarship applications will be judged upon the student’s academic performance, extracurricular and community activities, teacher references, and SAT scores.

The deadline to submit scholarship applications is April 1, and the application can be downloaded at utfinancial.org.  High school seniors not currently a member of UTF can call 732-530-8100 or visit utfinancial.org for membership information. Membership requires only a $5 deposit into a savings account and is open to all residents of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
