Unitus Community Credit Union Accepting Scholarship Applications for Fall 2012

PORTLAND, OR—Carrying on its commitment to helping members achieve a higher education, Unitus Community Credit Union, a leading financial institution in Oregon, is pleased to announce that they are now accepting 2012 Fall Scholarship Applications.

Eleven scholarships will available to graduating high school, undergraduate and graduate students. Each scholarship recipient will receive $1,000 toward his or her tuition for the 2012-2013 academic year. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, financial need and community involvement.

In order to be eligible, applicants must be a Unitus Community Credit Union member for at least one year as of May 1, 2012 with an account in good standing, and either planning to enroll or already enrolled as a full-time student at an eligible institution for the fall quarter/semester 2012. Previous scholarship award winners are not eligible.
