Unitus Community Credit Union appoints Megan Snyder to Assistant Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and promotes Aaron Bledy to Director of Commercial Services and Michelle Hollenbeck to Regional Mortgage Relationship Manager

PORTLAND, OR (September 10, 2021) — Unitus Community Credit Union, a Portland-based financial institution with more than 100,000 members and $1.7 billion in assets, announced that Megan Snyder has been appointed to Assistant Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Aaron Bledy has been promoted to Director of Commercial Services, and Michelle Hollenbeck elevated to Regional Mortgage Relationship Manager.

In this new role, Megan leads community development, key initiatives such as Hispanic Community outreach and diversity, inclusion, and equity project management as well key relationships with the Urban League of Portland, Inclusiv, and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) programming and grants.

Megan joined Unitus in 2017 and has more than 15 years working in financial service positions in all aspects of lending from organization, servicing, collection, as well as strong skills in project management, process improvement, and vendor management. Megan has a B.A. degree in both English and Spanish as well as a minor in Business Administration.

As Director of Commercial Services, Aaron is responsible for the rollout of small business online/mobile banking services as well as the implementation of a digital banking system for business members, thus leading to an expansion of services that will launch in 2022 featuring a small business loan origination platform. In 2017, Aaron joined Unitus as the Payments Product Manager with nearly two decades of financial services experience. Aaron holds a B.S. degree in Business Management/Finance.

After joining Unitus in 2017 as a Mortgage Relationship Officer, Michelle excelled in quality and service standards and became a top producer, consistently maintaining high production levels. In her new role as Regional Mortgage Relationship Manager, she will lead a team of dedicated professionals driving best practices and continued growth. With nearly 25 years’ experience in financial services, her energy and focus to help others achieve home ownership will inspire her team to reach their highest potential.
