Valley First Credit Union joins an initiative to expand ATM access for members

MODESTO, CA (May 1, 2024) — Valley First Credit Union is proud to announce that it has joined the Citi® ATM Community Network to provide enhanced access to cash withdrawal services for over 80,000 valued members.

The Citi® ATM Community Network enables members of participating community development credit unions, community banks, and minority-owned banks to make cash withdrawals without a surcharge fee at more than 2,000 Citibank branch ATMs in the United States.

“Valley First is committed to serving the diverse financial needs of our community,” said Kathryn Davis, President, and CEO of Valley First Credit Union. “By collaborating with Citi, we are able to expand access to essential banking services and promote financial inclusion for all members, particularly those in underserved communities.”

This is a significant step towards bridging the gap in access to financial resources. Valley First members will have access to Citibank branch ATMs, including those in the New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles metropolitan areas.

“We are thrilled to see Valley First join this innovative initiative,” said Marco Chavarin, SVP of Community Relations. “Together, we are empowering individuals and families to achieve their financial goals by removing barriers to accessing essential banking services.”

Valley First remains committed to empowering our community members with the tools and resources they need to achieve financial success. We look forward to continuing our efforts to promote financial inclusion and accessibility for all.
