Vantage West honored with National Marketing Award
Industry award celebrates Vantage West's hispanic marketing initative
Vantage West Credit Union (www.vantagewest.org), Southern Arizona’s largest credit union, has been honored with a Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Diamond Award for its Hispanic marketing initiative. Vantage West was recognized with the Category’s Best Diamond Award this week during the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council’s 23rd annual conference in Anaheim, Calif.
As part of its strategic plan to more effectively meet the needs of existing Hispanic members and reach out to prospective new members, Vantage West complemented its general marketing efforts with bilingual, bicultural multimedia, marketing efforts throughout 2015. The initiative raised general awareness among Hispanic consumers through culturally relevant marketing campaigns, and social media engagement opportunities and by supporting community events that are an important part of the rich Hispanic culture in southern Arizona.
Additionally, Vantage West promoted its classification as the first credit union in Arizona to earn the Juntos Avanzamos designation, a title that identifies the credit union as one that has demonstrated a commitment to financial inclusion and asset-building for the Hispanic community.
“Earning national recognition by industry peers for our commitment to Hispanic consumers is truly special,” Luis Soto, segment marketing manager for Vantage West, said. “Everyone has different needs, and Vantage West is dedicated to serving all of its communities in the most appropriate ways possible. This outreach initiative truly was a team effort, and it continues today.”
