Veridian Credit Union directors at 80th Annual Meeting

WATERLOO, IA (May 6, 2014) -- Veridian Credit Union members voted to elect candidates for five positions on their board of directors last Saturday, May 3. The vote was compiled at Veridian’s 80th Annual Meeting. Each of the newly elected board members committed to serving a three-year term. Veridian’s board is made up of 15 non-paid, volunteer directors who oversee strategic planning and general policy setting for the credit union.

Veridian board members elected at the Annual Meeting include:

  • Scott Anderson of Brandon
  • Ginger Shirley of Waterloo
  • Denny Skelton of Ankeny
  • Creston L. Van Wey of Dewar
  • Gaylen D. Witzel of Cedar Falls

 

Soon after the Annual Meeting, Veridian’s board also assigned directors to its executive team. Assignments include:

  • Board Chair: Paul Gengler
  • Chief Financial Officer: Creston L. Van Wey
  • First Vice Chair: David R. Schultz
  • Second Vice Chair: Scott Anderson
  • Secretary: Nick Waters
