IOWA CITY, IA (January 16, 2015) -- Veridian Insurance, an independent insurance agency affiliated with Veridian Credit Union, has acquired Iowa City-based Fleener Insurance Services, Inc.
The change in ownership will create very little change for existing clients of Fleener, as they may continue with their current policies or explore their options with an expanded lineup of carriers. Previous owner Dave Fleener will serve as a consultant for Veridian Insurance, and agent Nancy Phillips will continue to work at the existing Fleener facility at 430 Iowa Ave. in Iowa City.
