Vermont Federal Credit Union membership elects board of directors at 66th Annual Meeting

BURLINGTON, VT (May 30, 2019) — On Thursday, May 9, 2019, members joined Vermont Federal Credit Union leadership and staff at Delta Marriott in South Burlington to celebrate the successes of the past year and elect the Board of Directors.

Incumbents Joseph Finnigan and Ethan Hutchins were re-elected to the Credit Union’s Board of Directors for three year terms.

Joe Finnigan was President/CEO and Treasurer of Vermont Federal Credit Union for over 30 years, retiring in March 2009. He continued as Treasurer of the Board of Directors, until May 2016, when he was elected Board Chair. He has supported the credit union industry throughout his career in many capacities.  He currently represents Vermont as a Trustee for the Credit Union Legislation Action Council

(CULAC). Previously, he served at the national level on the Board Executive Committee and on the Board of Trustees for CULAC.

Ethan started his career in 2008 in the software design industry. He is currently employed at Mi9 Retail (formerly MyWebGrocer) as a Senior Software Engineer. Ethan enjoys participating in the whole lifecycle of software development and making sure the end product exceeds the customer’s expectations. Ethan takes on a range of software development projects ranging from analysis, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Third Party integrations, internal tools, and User Interface development.
