Visions Federal Credit Union’s Watkins Glen branch showed their appreciation for teachers in the Odessa and Watkins Glen School Districts through a recent Act of Kindness.
The branch donated 200 goodie bags to teachers, including coffee mugs, highlighter pens, a magnetic grocery list, disinfectant wipes, a stress ball, and candy. Visions also donated 25 $10 Dunkin’ gift cards to be handed out to the schools’ cleaning staffs.
Michel Ray, Branch Manager at the Visions Watkins Glen branch, was the one who came up with the idea to give back to the teachers in the area to show appreciation for all the challenges they have had to overcome this year.
Started in 2016 as part of Visions’ 50th anniversary, Acts of Kindness are a way for Visions branches to get creative and say thank you to organizations, nonprofits, schools, and businesses within their communities.
