Brian E. Wolfburg, President/CEO of VyStar Credit Union, announced the official opening of VyStar’s 56th branch location at 5857 Seven Mile Drive, Wildwood, FL 34785. VyStar officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on Wednesday, September 4th, at 10:30 a.m., as well as other grand opening festivities through Saturday, September 7th.
Brian Wolfburg says, “The Villages branch is VyStar’s first branch in Sumter County and will be well-positioned to respond to the tremendous growth that has flourished in this amazing community. We look forward to supporting the financial needs of the residents and helping them achieve their financial goals.”
The Villages branch is one of VyStar’s new branch design concepts. The design combines a fresh look with enhanced technology intended to increase efficiency and improve member experience. The Wildwood facility has four teller stations, five member service offices, two drive-thru lanes, one drive-up ATM, and one walk-up ATM located in a protected vestibule with 24-hour access. Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
April Green serves as Branch Vice President of VyStar’s Wildwood branch. She began her career in the financial services industry 16 years ago and joined the VyStar family in 2014, starting as a teller at the Gainesville branch and working her way to Vice President. April recently moved to Sumter County and has made the area her home. She says, “As the daughter of a career Navy man, I grew up around VyStar, which was Jax Navy Federal Credit Union at the time. I have fond memories of going into a VyStar branch as a child to make deposits and learning the importance of saving. It was exciting to be a member then, and it is just as exciting for me now to help introduce VyStar to Sumter County and The Villages community.”
