Brian E. Wolfburg, President/CEO of VyStar Credit Union, announced the official opening of VyStar’s first branch in Orlando and 43rd St in Gainesville, milestones that will enable the organization to continue serving more members located in Central Florida. VyStar officials on Nov. 18 held virtual ribbon-cutting ceremonies for each of the two branches, which incorporate a digital-forward design concept that provides additional ways for employees to interact and connect with members.
VyStar’s simultaneous arrival in Orange County and expansion in Alachua County reflects the organization’s capacity for growth and helps fulfill their goal of bringing credit union services to more people. Brian Wolfburg says, “Introducing VyStar to the residents of Orlando and increasing our presence in Gainesville allows us to offer better banking options and spread our philanthropic efforts to more communities. We are proud of the relationships we have already formed in these areas and look forward to creating more in the future.”
The Orlando branch, at 1 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, Florida, is located inside the historic Yowell-Duckworth building, which serves as a co-working space that targets some of the area’s best startups and entrepreneurs. Among the available features at the Orlando branch are interactive touchscreen kiosks, which provide financial tools that allow members to quickly explore the latest products, services and rates. Members can also email pertinent information to themselves for future reference.
The Gainesville branch, at 2810 NW 43rd St., Gainesville, Florida, replaces the branch previously located on nearby 39th Avenue. Similar to the Orlando branch, the state-of-the-art facility offers an array of digital tools and will be the template for VyStar’s future locations. Each branch will serve as an advisory center for employees to better assist members with all of their financial needs.
