Webster First Federal Credit Union donates $25,000 to local food pantries

Worcester, MA (December 18, 2025) |

Webster First Federal Credit Union announced today a combined donation of $25,000 to several local food pantries to help ensure community members have access to food throughout the holiday season.

The funds are intended to alleviate food insecurity during a critical time of year, providing much-needed resources to organizations on the front lines of hunger relief. The donations were distributed among three key community partners to maximize their impact across the region.

"We remain committed to ensuring every neighbor is fed and supported with dignity throughout this holiday season, a time when it is most needed by so many in our community," said John Thomasian, [CEO of Webster First].

Webster First donated $10,000 to the Webster Dudley Food Share to support its local efforts. An additional $10,000 was given to the Worcester County Food Bank, a vital organization that distributed one million pounds of food in November alone. A further $5,000 was allocated to The Greater Boston Food Bank to aid its mission of ending hunger in Eastern Massachusetts. This financial support will help these organizations continue their essential work of providing nutritious food to individuals and families facing hardship.
