She is a graduate of Asnuntuck Community College and continues study at New England Collage of Business and Finance. Stetson is also a graduate of the Executive Education Program from the Credit Union League of Connecticut, a statewide association.

“It is an honor to become Chief Executive Officer. I am fortunate to have had experienced mentors here at WLFCU and will lead with the knowledge and values they have instilled in me,” said Charla Stetson, CEO, Windsor Locks Federal Credit Union. “I am passionate about contributing to the credit union movement. I love my hometown of Windsor Locks and feel fortunate to work closely with the community in my role at WLFCU. Serving members, developing our employees, and ensuring the safety and security of the Credit Union are my top priorities. I am excited to guide and grow WLFCU for years to come,” continued Stetson.

Javorski has been with WLFCU for 11 years, serving in the Accounting Department. She has more than 30 years of financial services experience working for banks in various operations roles. Javorski earned her B.S. from Springfield College. She has studied at EasCorp ALM and Investment Academy and the Credit Union National Association’s Investment School. Javorski is currently working on completing the Executive Education Program from the Credit Union League of Connecticut.

“The credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” is what attracted me to work for WLFCU and its members,” said Patricia Javorski, COO, Windsor Locks Federal Credit Union. “I look forward to working with our member board of directors and the staff to make WLFCU the best place to work while keeping our members needs at the forefront,” Javorski continued.

Outgoing president, John E. Franco, Jr., served at the Credit Union for more than 12 years. Under his leadership WLFCU grew more than $10 million in total assets and expanded the array of services available at the Credit Union.
