Workers Credit Union, Worcester Red Sox, LinkToVR, and LTI Business Solutions team up for first of its kind augmented reality game at Polar Park

LITTLETON, MA (June 6, 2023) — It’s a whole new ballgame at Polar Park! On Thursday June 8 at 10:00am Workers Credit Union will be hosting a virtual press event to unveil Workers Reality, an exciting, state of the art Augmented Reality game making its debut at the next night’s WooSox game. Worcester Red Sox fans will interact with holographic imagery while playing the game to earn valuable prizes any time they are at Polar Park. The new experience which leverages AI-enabled vision technology is a team effort involving Workers Credit Union, the Worcester Red Sox, and LinkToVR. The group was brought together by LTIBuisnessSolutions.com. Members of the media can schedule virtual interviews with all the key players using this link and access this Dropbox to download photos and videos they can use in their stories showing how the Workers Reality game works.
Visitors to the park will use a free app downloaded to their phones to play the Workers Reality game. They point their phones at targets on display at four different locations in the park. Each target unlocks a unique Augmented Reality visual experience featuring baseball-themed immersive content. Collecting all the game pieces qualifies the visitor to get an exclusive poster at the WooSox rewards booth located on the first base side outside of the WooSox Market. It also makes them eligible to win the top reward – a WooSox prize pack that includes four season tickets for the 2024 season, attending batting practice with the players, customized team jerseys and more. No purchase necessary to win.
