Xplore Federal Credit Union announces new President/Chief Executive Officer
NEW ORLEANS, LA (February 2, 2017) — Rafael Rondon has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Xplore Federal Credit Union (Xplore).
“Rafael is an experienced credit union executive with the background we were looking for in our next chief executive officer. His sales and operations experience will be integral to our continued growth and service of our field of membership. We are confident he will bring a bright and prosperous future to Xplore Federal Credit Union as CEO,” said Neil Johnston, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
Rafael comes to Xplore from Dade County Federal Credit Union in Miami, Florida. Most recently he served there as Vice President of Sales and Operations and prior to that as Director of Sales and Operations. Before his time with Dade County Federal Credit Union, Rafael invested eight years with Wells Fargo Bank, initially serving as Branch Manager, then Regional Supervisor and eventually Market Support Consultant. Rafael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
When asked about his new position at Xplore Federal Credit Union, Rafael stated, “It is an honor to accept the role of Chief Executive Officer of Xplore Federal Credit Union. The credit union has a great opportunity for success and I am looking forward to leading its continued growth and development.”
