Yolo FCU embarks on website redesign with BloomCU

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, UT (July 14, 2017) — California-based Yolo Federal Credit Union is partnering with award-winning credit union website design agency BloomCU to embark on a complete website refresh.

Since 1954, Yolo FCU has been serving the banking needs of Yolo County community members, helping both individuals and businesses achieve financial success and build wealth. Although the credit union currently has a website, management recognized it isn’t garnering the results they hope for.

Yolo FCU and BloomCU have established some important goals for the new website:

  • Increase the number of applications for products and services
  • Advance Yolo FCU’s brand image
  • Improve website usability
  • Rank higher in search engine results

To develop a custom strategy for a credit union website design, BloomCU begins their award-winning process by gathering in-depth information about Yolo FCU’s brand. Next steps include research practices such as card sorting and usability testing with actual users to evaluate and simplify the site’s user experience for both mobile and desktop.

While the design process is still in its infancy, Yolo FCU and BloomCU plan to implement a number of advanced technologies, including real-time content personalization to increase engagement and a chatbot to help users easily navigate the website.
