What theme park should you spend your money on?

Theme parks are fun. They’re great for couples, families, friends, the occasional person who wants to be alone. But they are not all created equal. Obviously, there’s a fair bit of money that gets shelled out every time a trip like this is made. There are a lot of parks out there, each with their own exclusive rides. So, who is the best? If you’re planning a trip to the west coast with your valentine or the whole fam, not only is the weather awesome most of the time, but it also has three of the best parks in fair proximity to one another; Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Disneyland.

Knott’s Berry Farm

As of right now, Knott’s Berry Farm has a 4.0 on TripAdvisor. With rides like Montezooma’s Revenge, Hang Time, and Ghost Rider, this place is a must. Knott’s Berry Farm boasts 40 rides for all ages. Current ticket prices purchased online with no discount run as low as $47 each.

Six Flags Magic Mountain

With heavy-hitting rides like X2, Batman, and Goliath, Six Flags is a must for any thrill seeker. Featuring 40 rides, Six Flags offers fun for the entire family. Same as Knott’s, Magic Mountain has a 4.0 review on TripAdvisor.

Six Flags is also home to Full Throttle. What’s so special about this ride? According to Six Flags, Full Throttle is “the world’s tallest and fastest looping coaster.” That’s quite the claim and worth visiting if you fancy yourself a daredevil. Admission to this park starts at $46.50.

Disneyland

There is so much to say about Disneyland. It has some of the most iconic rides, from Pirates of the Caribbean to Thunder Mountain to Space Mountain, and yes, even It’s a Small World. This park lives in the hearts of millions of children and adults. A single online ticket price starts at $104, giving you access to 95 attractions.

Conclusion

This all depends on what you’re after. Disneyland isn’t a place for a lot of thrills. If that’s what you’re looking for, save your money for something else. On the other hand, if big thrills are your desire, the other two parks will gladly fit that bill for significantly less money. Lastly, if nostalgia and good fun are what you want, go Disney.
