Gensler recently released its 2013 U.S. Workplace Survey, which used a sample of 2,035 respondents to better understand the workplace, design trends, and employee preferences.  An interesting finding of the research was the importance of providing employees with the ability to choose among several types of workspace.

Employees without choice report low effectiveness and diminished experience.”

Momentum continues to see the Gensler research validated in our own work with clients, as more organizations are embracing workplace designs that support multiple modes of work and that provide employees with the ability to choose types of space needed to be productive.
