In an office setting, it’s sometimes a lot harder to tell what those around you are feeling. They seem annoyed at your success: Did you just finish a big project or sale? Most people would be happy to hear that. If you have a coworker that seems annoyed by it, maybe it’s cause they’re hoping you’ll do something to get yourself fired.

They talk about you behind your back: It’s not a great feeling to find out that someone is talking about you behind your back. If this is going on at your office, it may be a sign that someone isn’t your biggest fan. It’s probably time to take a deep breath and nip it in the bud.

They don’t want to help: On a good team, everyone is willing to lend a hand when it’s needed. If you find that you have a coworker who seems to be “busy” anytime you need some help, it could be a sign that they have no desire to do you any favors.
