Endurance Federal Credit Union in Duncan OK, awarded one local teacher with $1,000.00 and two local teachers with $500.00 worth of classroom supplies as part of their Teacher Grant Program.
The recipient of the $1,000.00 was Amanda Copeland. She is the Special Education Teacher/Director at Empire Public Schools. One of the $500.00 recipients was Taneshia Reyes, a First Grade Teacher at Elk City Elementary School. The second recipient of $500.00 was Courtney Reyes, a First Grade Teacher at Elk City Elementary School.
“We launched the Teacher Grant Program as a way to give back to our educator members and to show our continued support for the schools within our community,” said Chris Bower, CEO and President of Endurance FCU. “This year, we received an overwhelming number of outstanding applications, which inspired us to award two additional $500 grants. We take great pride in this program and are honored to invest in the dedicated teachers who work every day to help students reach their full potential.”
This is the 8th year for the Endurance FCU Teacher Grant Program.
