Compass Community Credit Union members and staff stepped up to help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Members were encouraged to stop by any Compass branch through the month of October and make a $5.00 donation by purchasing a pink ribbon. Donors were encouraged to write down the name of an individual in honor by displaying the pink ribbons inside the branch. All proceeds were donated to the local American Cancer Society in Eureka.
Compass matched every donation made by members and staff. A check for $1,000 was presented to LeeAnn Zeck, Senior Manager, on behalf of the American Cancer Society in Eureka. “On behalf of the American Cancer Society, we are so grateful to Compass Community Credit Union for their generous $1,000 donation. Their support helps us continue making a positive impact on our community and reminds us how powerful it is when local organizations come together to give back. Thank you for investing in our mission and the people we serve,” said LeeAnn Zeck.
“Many of us have been touched by cancer through our family and friends or even personal diagnosis, and Compass is proud to stand behind the fight,” said Ray Litchfield, President and CEO of Compass. “Together, we can honor those affected, support survivors, and work toward a future without breast cancer.”
