MIDDLETOWN, CT (December 18, 2025) |
Ellafi Kind, the charitable arm of Ellafi Federal Credit Union dedicated to empowering women through financial wellness and community support, raised more than $18,500 during its First Annual Giving Tuesday campaign. The funds will support new grant opportunities launching in 2026, with a focus on organizations serving women and girls in Middlesex and New Haven counties.
“We are grateful for the overwhelming response and support from Ellafi members and longtime vendor partners,” said Kristen Jensen, VP of Community at Ellafi and Director on the Ellafi Kind Board of Directors. “This generosity will make a meaningful difference.”
Earlier this fall, Ellafi Kind hosted a Local Nonprofit Giveaway, providing donations to five member-nominated organizations: The Food Pantry of North Branford , TriCircle, Unashamed, Inc., Caritas Immigration Legal Services, and Charter Oak WIT (Women in Transition) Program.
Ellafi Kind will continue to champion programs and partnerships that foster financial wellness and resilience among women in underserved communities. With its first full year ahead in 2026, the organization is building on this momentum and looking forward to expanding its reach and impact.
