Sharetec, a leading digital banking and core processing technology company serving credit unions, is ringing in the new year with the appointment of Rob Zelinka as its new Chief Information & Security Officer (CISO).
With extensive experience in enterprise IT operations and more than seven years as Global CIO at Jack Henry, Zelinka brings industry and functional expertise to strengthen Sharetec’s IT and infrastructure operations. He will focus on scalable architecture, system reliability, and embedded security to support regulatory requirements and long-term platform sustainability and scalability.
“Protecting our credit unions and their members isn’t just a priority—it’s the foundation of our mission,” said Sharetec CEO Rachel Collins. “As we redefine how technology powers the credit union ecosystem, security must remain at the core of our platform. Rob’s leadership and deep expertise will be instrumental in elevating our strategy and accelerating our commitment to secure, modern innovation.”
As CISO, Zelinka will oversee the security, resiliency, and regulatory compliance of Sharetec’s digital and core processing platforms. He will lead enterprise security strategy, safeguard sensitive member data, and proactively manage emerging technology risks across the credit union ecosystem.
“Sharetec is actively shaping the future of financial technology, and I’m energized to bring my experience to a company moving at that pace,” said Zelinka. “Modern security is the gateway to smarter, safer, and more fully interconnected digital banking — protecting credit unions and their members while enabling entirely new possibilities.”
Zelinka’s appointment comes just over three months after Sharetec announced its new CEO, Rachel Collins, and CTO, Scott Abramson, further underscoring the company’s continued commitment to innovation, modernization, and doing what it takes to help credit unions win.
