People helping people. Chances are, you’ve heard that credit union philosophy before. It’s the whole reason for the credit union movement, and, at Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU), it’s the credit union’s daily driving force. But at its core, BHFCU couldn’t be people helping people without its employees. That’s what makes it so special that the credit union has been recognized with the Top Workplace in the Great Plains award for a third consecutive year.
Energage's Workplace Survey, an anonymous employee feedback tool, determines the Great Plains Top Workplaces awards. Because these awards are based solely on employee input, Top Workplaces is a credible and authentic recognition of workplace culture.
“As a human resources professional, we put a lot of effort into creating and maintaining our culture, actively listening to employee feedback through surveys like Energage’s. This award reflects our collective efforts in cultivating an exceptional workplace culture that values every team member,” shared Angie Clements, VP Human Resources.
Top Workplaces Great Plains compares how BHFCU stacks up against all industries and businesses with 35+ employees across the Midwest, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kansas.
At the end of the day, the credit union is most proud of this award because it means its people are happy. BHFCU is grateful to the 400+ individuals who help improve lives.
