i2c Inc., a global financial technology innovator, announced its integral role as a technology partner to Cross River Bank (“Cross River”), a technology infrastructure provider that offers integrated financial solutions, and leading fintech, Sightline Payments, as they launch their first-of-its-kind payments ecosystem for the U.S. gaming industry. This new ecosystem, which includes the inaugural product Sightline Debit, represents a significant step forward in digital payments for the gaming industry.
The new ecosystem leverages i2c’s next generation processing platform. It aims to create a frictionless, customer-centric experience that streamlines spending and wagering, while significantly lowering operator payment costs. Through a demand deposit account (DDA) at Cross River, Member FDIC*, with Cross River as the issuer and i2c as the issuer processor, the ecosystem delivers a more adaptive approach to transaction authorization. The data-driven insights from the platform ensure greater security and efficiency, giving customers more control over their money, with the ability to spend securely and seamlessly using a debit card issued by Cross River on the VISA® network.
“This initiative is a pivotal moment for the gaming industry, providing a more efficient, secure, and customer-centric experience for millions of customers and operators alike,” said Amir Wain, Founder and CEO of i2c. “We are incredibly proud to support Sightline Payments and Cross River Bank in launching this groundbreaking payments ecosystem and look forward to continuing this journey together, driving further advancements and setting new benchmarks for the future of payments.”
The collaboration reinforces i2c’s long-standing partnership with Sightline Payments, which includes an exclusive ten-year renewal announced in March 2024. Since 2012, Sightline has partnered with i2c for its digital payments division, a relationship that has grown to include land-based casinos, sports betting, and omnichannel cashless operations.
Omer Sattar, Co-founder and CEO of Sightline Payments, spoke to the importance of the partnership. “Sightline Debit reflects our vision for smarter payments, and with i2c as processor, we can bring customers a solution that is innovative, secure, and designed for responsible play,” he said. “This collaborative partnership ensures we continue to empower the gaming industry with real transformation at scale.”
“Cross River’s collaboration with Sightline Payments and i2c represents a significant leap forward in reimagining payments for the gaming industry. Together, we are powering a first-of-its-kind ecosystem that promises to bring greater flexibility and efficiency and a more empowered financial experience to customers,” added Adam Goller, Head of Fintech Banking at Cross River.
The first phase of Sightline’s ecosystem is already underway in key digital gaming markets.
