RICHARDSON, TX (February 24, 2026) |
Texans Credit Union announced today the promotion of Dan Western to Director of Member Success. In his new role, Western will continue leading the credit union’s Loan and Relationship Advisor teams while overseeing the Member Success function as it evolves to support operational performance and member-focused growth.
“Dan has made a strong impact in a short period of time by bringing enthusiasm, clarity, and a people-first mindset to the Member Success team,” said Matt Moore, Senior Vice President of Retail at Texans Credit Union. “His ability to support and develop leaders while keeping members at the center of the work makes him a natural fit for this role.”
Western joined Texans Credit Union in October 2024 and has played a key role in driving success across both the Loan Advisor and Relationship Advisor teams. Since joining the credit union, he has worked across departments, strengthening reporting and analytics, formalizing performance expectations, and introducing new structures, systems, and tools to better support frontline teams and enhance how Texans Credit Union serves its members.
“I appreciate the opportunity and the confidence the team has shown in me,” Western said. “This role allows me to focus even more on supporting our Loan Advisors and Relationship Advisors while continuing to contribute to the strong culture we have at Texans.”
Western brings more than 20 years of financial services leadership experience to the role, including leading teams across multiple markets, scaling member-facing operations, and supporting enterprise initiatives for credit unions and banks. He holds a Bachelor of Business in Management from Massey University in New Zealand.
