Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (Hawaii State FCU) has announced two leadership promotions within its Hawaii State Investment Services division. Sean Umetsu has been promoted to vice president, and Daniel Krase has been promoted to assistant vice president.

Sean Umetsu, CFP?, Vice President, Investment Services
In his new role as vice president, Umetsu will continue providing financial planning and investment advisory services to Hawaii State Investment Services clients, with expanded leadership responsibilities. Umetsu has more than 24 years of experience as a financial advisor and has been with Hawaii State FCU for over 12 years, serving as a top producing advisor for the credit union. He is registered through Cetera Investment Services and is securities registered and insurance licensed in Hawaii. Prior to joining Hawaii State FCU, Umetsu served as a financial consultant at First Hawaiian Bank for nine years. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Daniel Krase, Assistant Vice President, Investment Services
As assistant vice president, Krase will continue delivering financial planning and investment guidance to clients while supporting the continued growth of Hawaii State Investment Services. Krase has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been with Hawaii State FCU for five years. He is registered through Cetera Investment Services and holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, along with a Hawaii life insurance license. Prior to joining Hawaii State FCU, Krase advised clients in downtown Chicago for 14 years, including 10 years with J.P. Morgan Chase, and previously worked as an equity trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
