Oklahoma City, OK (April 2, 2026) |
The WEOKIE Foundation has awarded 25 Oklahoma graduating high school seniors a combined $50,000 in college scholarships. Each of the 25 recipients will receive a $2,000 scholarship for their continued college education or vocational school. The winners were selected from 515 applications received.

The scholarship winners were selected through an essay-writing contest. Each student submitted an essay sharing what makes them unique and the experiences that have shaped who they are today. They reflected on their passions, talents, and life experiences, and how those moments have influenced their goals for the future. Students also described what sets them apart and what they hope to achieve as they pursue their dreams. Applications were open to all graduating seniors in Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomi counties that reside in WEOKIE Federal Credit Union’s field of membership guidelines.
