Inspire Federal Credit Union awards three college scholarships to Neshaminy High School students

NEWTOWN, PA (May 13, 2026) |

Inspire Federal Credit Union (“Inspire FCU”) announced the recipients of its 2026 College Scholarships, awarding three graduating seniors from Neshaminy High School each a $2,000 scholarship to support their college endeavors.

Nearly 30 students applied and Inspire FCU expanded the award from two scholarships to three based on the strength of the submissions. The recipients of the 2026 Scholarships are:

  • Kayla Stilwell - Attending Thomas Jefferson University, majoring in Pre-Medical Studies
  • Adelia Hunter – Attending the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Neuroscience
  • Sydney Kallen, Studying Biology at NC State University

After pausing the scholarship program several years ago, Inspire FCU revived the program this year in response to the economic climate and rising education costs. “With the cost of higher education rising, we wanted to bring this program back to help local students take their next step,” said Jim Merrill, President and CEO of Inspire Federal Credit Union. “We’re proud to recognize these outstanding Neshaminy seniors and deepen our support of Neshaminy High School.”

In addition to the scholarship program, Inspire FCU also supports athletics and financial literacy initiatives with Neshaminy High School.

This year, the scholarship will be renamed the Vince Magyar Excellence in Education Scholarship, honoring Vincent “Vince” Magyar. Magyar was an educator in the Pennsbury School District for 35 years and volunteered 17 years of service to the Inspire Board of Directors.
