Texans Credit Union today announced the promotions of Adrien Augustine and Melissa Perea from District Managers to Directors of Branch Operations. As part of their expanded roles, both will join the credit union’s Senior Leadership Team, reflecting Texans Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to developing talent from within and investing in the leaders who drive member experience across its branch network.
“Adrien and Melissa have both made a lasting impact on our branch network and the financial lives of our members,” said Matt Moore, Senior VP of retail at Texans Credit Union. “They’ve each demonstrated the ability to develop people, drive results, and elevate those around them, and we know their expertise will benefit both staff and members as they join our Senior Leadership Team.”
Adrien Augustine, Director of Branch Operations
Augustine brings a deep familiarity with Texans Credit Union, having first worked for the organization from 2017 to 2019. During that initial tenure, he advanced rapidly through the branch leadership ranks from Assistant Branch Manager to Branch Manager to Senior Branch Manager. He returned to Texans Credit Union in May 2022 as Senior Branch Manager quickly reestablishing himself as a steadying force across the organization’s branch network.
In his new role as Director of Branch Operations, Augustine will oversee seven branch locations. Known for empowering his teams, he leads with positivity and adaptability, and consistently makes an impact well beyond the locations that report directly to him.
Melissa Perea, Director of Branch Operations
Perea joined Texans Credit Union in November 2018 as a Branch Manager, where she immediately made her mark through outstanding loan production and membership growth. Her results-driven leadership earned her a promotion to Senior Branch Manager in 2020, and in March 2024 she was elevated again to District Manager, assuming oversight of the credit union’s five North District branches. She will also lead the credit union’s newest branch location in McKinney when construction is completed.
Detail-oriented and deeply committed to her team, Perea has been a driving force in building consistency and delivering strong performance across the branch network. As Director of Branch Operations, she will continue overseeing the North District while taking on broader responsibilities in support of Texans Credit Union’s member-first growth strategy.
