Power Credit Union is pleased to introduce two new executives to its leadership team, Justin Salazar, Vice President of Member Experience and Michael Shoaf, Chief Lending Officer.

Justin brings 15 years of leadership experience in hospitality, where he built his career around service, connection, consistency, and creating experiences that make people feel welcomed, heard, and valued. His background has shaped his belief that great service is about more than completing a transaction. It is about how people feel throughout the entire experience.
In his role as Vice President of Member Experience, Justin will work closely with Power Credit Union’s branch and member service teams to continue strengthening service, communication, consistency, and support across all locations.
Justin’s goal is to help ensure every member feels welcomed, respected, and confident when they interact with Power Credit Union, whether they visit a branch, call for assistance, or need support during an important financial moment.
Michael has over 17 years of banking experience, most recently serving as the Chief Lending Officer for SunWest Credit Union. Michael’s experience includes consumer, small business, commercial, and agricultural lending. Michael brings a wealth of experience to the existing team at Power Credit Union.
Michael will lead a passionate lending team living the “people helping people” mission focused on helping the membership turn their dreams into reality. The focus will be on continuing to refine the product mix and meeting the lending needs of Southern Colorado.
