PLANO, TX (July 24, 2026) |
Cornerstone Resources Executive Recruiter Reagan Pugh has been elected board chair of Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, where she will help guide the strategic direction of the $387 million-asset credit union. A 20-year credit union industry veteran, Pugh has served on the Cy-Fair FCU board of directors for more than three years, including as director and treasurer.
Pugh began her career as a financial services representative, opening new accounts and processing loans before advancing into loan underwriting. Her leadership abilities led to promotions into management roles, including assistant vice president overseeing branch operations and later vice president of operations.
Today, Pugh leads nationwide executive searches for Cornerstone Resources, helping credit unions identify and recruit executive leadership talent. She is widely recognized for her deep knowledge of the credit union industry, expertise in executive recruitment, and commitment to strengthening leadership across the movement.
Cy-Fair FCU President Cameron Dickey said Pugh has been a valuable asset to the board since joining it.
“Since joining our board of directors, Reagan has brought a valuable perspective shaped by years of executive recruitment, talent strategy, and organizational leadership,” Dickey said. “Her insight has strengthened our governance discussions, particularly in the areas of organizational culture, leadership development, succession planning, and talent retention.”
Dickey added that Pugh understands long-term organizational success begins with investing in people and that her leadership has helped keep the board focused not only on financial performance, but also on cultivating talent and organizational culture.
Cornerstone Resources Vice President of Executive Search Marcus Cotton said Pugh’s breadth of experience makes her exceptionally well-suited for the role.
“Reagan has served as a credit union vice president of operations, supported the credit union movement through the Cornerstone League, and successfully recruited executive leaders for credit unions nationwide through Cornerstone Resources,” Cotton said. “That combination of operational, strategic, and leadership experience gives her a unique perspective that will serve Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union well. The board made an outstanding choice in selecting her as chair.”
Pugh said she is honored by the confidence her fellow directors have placed in her.
“Being elected board chair is a distinguished honor,” Pugh said. “I am grateful for the trust and confidence my fellow board members have placed in me to serve in this leadership role. I look forward to working alongside the board, management team, and members to support the continued growth and success of our credit union.”
