CASE Credit Union announced this year’s scholarship recipients, awarding 20 $1,000 scholarships to local high school students and four $2,000 scholarships to Lansing Community College students for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The annual scholarship program recognizes students for financial need, academic achievement, community involvement, school activities, awards and honors, professional or educational recommendations, and an essay on financial literacy initiatives. The high school scholarships honor Florence Chubb, June “Bud” Hayes, Hyrtl Feeman, and Sheila A. Williams-Matlock, whose service and leadership helped shape CASE Credit Union and the communities it serves.

2026–2027 High School Scholarship Recipients
- Florence Chubb Scholarship: Dutch Kisselburg, Jade Queen, Alexis Pierson, Zachary Hassenzahl, and Evan Lefevre.
- Hyrtl Feeman Scholarship: Matthew Wang, Auden Lenneman, Apollo Reed, Sheril Rayo, and Joseph Schild II.
- June “Bud” Hayes Scholarship: Alicia Zhang, Aaron Burm, Sebastian Hubinger, Ben Smedley, and Audrey Cope.
- Sheila A. Williams-Matlock Scholarship: Jeremiah Woods, Ka'Laela Haynes, Dequarius Stewart, Kellen Lott, and Braylon Lenneman.
Lansing Community College Scholarship Recipients
The Lansing Community College scholarships are awarded in honor of Constance Knowlton, a retired Lansing School District teacher who served generations of students and was a CASE Board of Directors member from 1984 to 2010.
- Constance Knowlton Scholarship: Karrie Dunn, Rachel Rozen, Adam Sufyan, and Joseph Price.
