SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 12, 2013) -- Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) is pleased to announce Amanda Gallegos has been selected to serve as branch manager for its facility on Southwest Military. In her role, she will be responsible for the overall operation of the branch, including handling cash operations, overseeing member service, meeting established goals, and promoting SSFCU products and services.
Gallegos joined the credit union in July 2007, starting as an assistant manager at the 1604/Bandera branch and was promoted to branch manager of the Nacogdoches location three years later.
In addition to her work experience, Gallegos is a graduate of the North Chamber Leadership Lab class of 2010 and is now an alumni member. She is also a committee member of On the Horizon for the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, an annual luncheon that focuses on emerging business issues.
She is currently pursuing a degree in business management at Northwest Vista College.
