Wes Emmons brings experience to help CUs connect with members.
BIRMINGHAM, AL (December 5, 2013) – EPL is pleased to announce that Wes Emmons has joined the company as Vice President of Regional Sales. Wes will advise credit unions in the southeast region on core technology solutions and methods to generate revenue and connect with members.
Wes is a veteran credit union industry executive, previously serving the Alabama Credit Union League (now the League of Southeastern Credit Unions). Wes was responsible for member credit union connections and advocacy, serving as the Vice President of CU Vote, a grass-roots effort to energize and organize member voters to support credit union initiatives. Wes has served on state, regional and national boards with impact on the credit union movement. Wes also displayed an entrepreneurial spirit through ownership of a successful local restaurant.
“We are excited to bring Wes to EPL. He has comprehensive knowledge of the credit union industry and a unique perspective gained from his experience at the Alabama League. Wes knows that the power of a credit union is in the strength of the connection with its members and that is the essence of the EPL difference—we help credit unions ‘Get Connected,’ noted Wayne Benson, president and CEO of EPL.
“Credit unions today need more than a method to count transactions and record data, they need a partner than enables the transition of data into knowledge and powerful methods to connect to their members’ financial lives,” said Emmons. “I am excited to join EPL as they are a growing company that shares my passion for credit unions and the focus that the heart of it all is the member.”
