MIAMI LAKES, FL (December 19, 2013) -- JetStream Federal Credit Union collected donations to benefit the disadvantaged children and youth of His House Children’s Home during this holiday season. In their continuing efforts to help the His House families, JetStream employees donated a variety of gift cards, toys, toiletries, clothing, baby items, and food.
His House Children’s Home is a private, non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to restoring the joy in the lives of children from newborn to 18 years of age, and those who have transitioned out of the foster care system. Established in 1989, the organization provides residential care for abused, neglected, and drug-exposed children in a home-like setting.
It is the vision of His House that the hearts of all children and families in crisis be healed, and that every child has a safe and nurturing home. “I want to thank our employees for their generosity to the children and families of His House, through their efforts we hope to make a difference in a child’s life this holiday,” said Jeanne Kucey, CEO.
