Loyalty still alive at Sussex Federal Credit Union

SEAFORD, DE (December 23, 2013) -- Sussex County Federal Credit Union (SCFCU) recently recognized and rewarded team members for their long-term, dedicated service at the credit union’s headquarters in Seaford, DE on December 5th. The relationship between these honorees and Sussex County Federal Credit Union exemplifies the fact that loyalty amongst employees and employers is still very much alive in today’s workforce.   Ten-year service award recipients included: Nicki Melvin, Del Burks, Jen Gipko, and Allen Riley-VP Operations.  Five-year service award recipients included: Vonnie Stewart, Jackie Wolf, and Sharon Wilkerson. Many honorees commented on how proud they were to have been instrumental in the geographical expansion of the credit union from one location to four; in the technological advancements like mobile banking and online banking; and how they’ve become more involved in local charitable initiatives through the credit union’s sponsorship of events like Walk with Me Delmarva to benefit Easter Seals or Celebrating Hope to benefit the Nanticoke Cancer Care Center.  Pamela Fleuette, SCFCU’s CEO, summed it up best, “Our employees are our greatest asset!  We work diligently to provide a great benefits package, a flexible work environment, and continued learning opportunities for our employees; in return we get knowledgeable, skilled, trustworthy, and dedicated employees who provide top-notch service to our customers and each other. The credit union also contributes its recent 5-Star Rating, from independent rating agency BauerFinancial, to the sound fiscal management policies practiced by its employees.
